Four independent studies were conducted to test the claims that BreathableBaby's Breathable Bumper helps prevent suffocation, rebreathing carbon dioxide; and promotes airflow:

(1) Carbon Dioxide Dispersal in Crib Bumpers Test;
(2) Suffocation Hazard Assessment Test;
(3) Resistance to Air Flow Test;
(4) ASTM D737.

No study was conducted to determine if the Breathable Bumper will prevent SIDS from occurring. Contact a medical professional immediately if you are concerned about your baby's health. BreathableBaby, LLC will not be held responsible for any misuse or lack of good judgment if your baby is injured while using the Breathable Bumper. First Candle SIDS Alliance has not endorsed or otherwise approved the Breathable Bumper.

(1) Resistance to Air Flow Test;
(2) Temperature Elevation under Blankets Covering a Heated Object Test; (3) Absorption Rate Wicking Test;
(4) ASTM E96 Vapor Transmission Test.
(5) An independent Carbon Dioxide Dispersal Test was conducted to test the claim that the Body-Breathe™ Wearable Blanket helps prevent rebreathing of carbon dioxide.
